This new, combined timer and schedule is a great idea from the US. A student's goal might be to complete a number of activities within a specified time period. The order of the activities can be seen and the timer promotes independent completion of them. The teacher reinforces the completion of all activities within the specified time and gradually reduces the time allowed until the student reaches the final goal. The digital clock, powered by a replaceable watch battery, can be set to countdown so that the alarm alerts the student to when their time is up or set to cumulative timer to store time over multiple activities.
